![]() Even though many JWE fans hate the comparison, it's fairly obvious to people who have seen both that JWE tried purposefully to emulate JPOG to appeal to it's fans and harness their nostalgia. To be fair the reason they probably put those mechanics in was to appeal to the old JPOG fans. Originally posted by Delta_BOSS:Sounds much funnier than a twister destroying your park! Oh, leave the twister in there! At least give me some fun! Same game, new dinos and graphics, or all of it with very different new game mechanics that won't get me bored as much? That I'm eager to see. And when my taste for dinos comes back, it's same cycle again. But no little dinos, no visiting kids, and yet this game is made for everyone, kids in mind!. How about you make me catch the dinos I want to put in my park, those I released after incubating them in a lab, on another island, and get the T-Rex chase me while doing so?! Sounds much funnier than a twister destroying your park! Oh, leave the twister in there! At least give me some fun! It's almost as if the drivable jeep was revolutionary! WOW! One little thing, if it wasn't already possible in some old JP games. And then we start asking ourselves why games are more boring over the years! We have our answer: we see nothing new.Īll in graphics, nothing in gameplay. If you can't come up with crazy funny ideas with this in mind, there's a problem somewhere. They made the Jeep drivable and shooting dinos possible in a park building game! There are game mechanics they didn't even bother exploring 'cause they probably didn't think out of the box. Why not going from Park view on one island to Inside view on another island?Īnd as you say, you'd love a pet zoo in JWE2, but this would require smaller dinos. They made the game so you can switch islands, go from one to another. You bring points that I already thought about. Originally posted by C:So, what is the difference between the JWE game and the JP/W movies? Even though I would love to have a pet zoo in JWE2. You just don't see a lab from the inside.Īnd in JW, they are in a pet zoo, so not really the ones for mass production. You see the young velociraptor in JP under lab conditions, in which they are bred and risen in JWE, too. ![]() Doesn't make sense for the others, because they don't show up and running parks. I mean, you don't see anyone building a fence within the first 30 minutes of JW, either.Īlso, the only movies you could compare JWE to, are JP and JW. For builders, it is almost a tradition, even the very first Sim City had it. Games work differently than movies, like, it doesn't make sense for most movies to have twisters within the first 30 minutes. (The first game btw., so this is the wrong forum for that.) Yeah, obviously the one is a game while the others are movies. So, what is the difference between the JWE game and the JP/W movies? But hey, sounds like a too complicated challenge. Seems like I made you realize what you had forgotten about. So all the things you said pretty much have one of these 2 things as an answer. Let it be an older member of the same species or mankind himself. You do know that juvenile dinosaurs do need some kind of support for growing up. ![]() Originally posted by C:My advise: don't listen to the complaining of random people on the internet. Introducing some parenting from bigger dinos. I get it Frontier want all dinos female, so no babies, that doesn't mean they can't be released at younger stage. Now you tell me what's missing in this game. Weather: how many twisters in California per day? Kids ridding little dinos! (John Hammond's dream) JP 3: there wasn't much in it beside a jungle trip. Here's a list of what I see in the movies: Then you got the people behind double-crossing the "good" guys by turning it into a war zone. I thought this game (and JP / JW story) was about park building, and profit. So no baby dinos, no kids, no fun beside shopping malls, restaurants, raising the alarm at the sight of twisters destroying everything, and clicking contest to replenish feeders and cure dinos from viruses. ![]() However, devs already said that there are not going to be juveniles. Things that people were complaining about, so the devs do listen to the players. Little is known about the actual gameplay at this moment, but from what is actually known, a lot of things will be different to part 1.
